Just a bit of a beat I started, purely done in FL studio so far. Really digging one of the sounds I found using the free VST called Synth1. I started this beat out thinking it was going to stay tough and 808-ish but then those strings came out of nowhere.
Thankfully the power has been back on. We were out for 6 days but many were out longer. I've put a ton of music hours in the last week and it's been a good time. Once I'm feelin a new jam good for the tubes, I'll post there too.

I think it's a testament to RJ's growing legend that even when the haters give him both barrels, they can't lay the stink on him cuz they can't catch the man riding dirty. He's the guy that plays fun because it's music, so how much more will he play music because it's fun? Way more. They asked Jesus for a sign and he wouldn't give them one, it may turn out that Ronald's holding back, too. Oh, there'll be a sign, and when it comes there's going to be so many downloads that it may just bring these internets to its knees and the haters will be crying for Ronald to back it off a notch. You wait and see.

I thought I was making it clear that I wasn't hassling RJ - the fact of the matter is (and I think I speak for a lot of people) that I wish I knew how RJ was getting along and where in the creative process he was. It'd be incredible to share that journey with a person like him, but we can only experience the end product. We're all champing at the bit to hear that next album, but we'd happily wait another 3 years if thats what RJ would need to release something he was happy with.
Again RJ, no pressure and I never meant for anything I said to be misconstrued as hassling. Whenever you're ready we'll all be here :)

Hey Ronald, this is Ronald. Man oh man... When I first listened to your tunes back in June of 2008 I was blown away. Now I am salvating at thought of your new album comming soon. Im not rushing you cause I know when its right man its right and when you are ready this album will be just as good if not better that the other. It was funny I am in the Army currently and when I went to an Army confrence involving several hundred people during breaks in the confrence they played your music. I picked that up right away and I went to go talk to the sound person and I said ok who is the Ronald Jenkees fan? One of the guys stood up and said I am. We talked about your music for a while discussing when your new fresh album would arrive. Any way dude I wanted let you know that even in government confrenses they are playing your tunes.

Eminem has just retired from the music biz after his guilty conscience finally got to him. "I just couldn't do it anymore," sobbed Em. "My real name is Marshal Mathers, and here I was making music as someone else. The problem was that Marshall couldn't rap to save his life! I'd still be broke! You gotta believe me, I only did it cuz I needed the money!"
It's true, ladies and gentlemen. From all over the globe there's been a complete repentance from the fakery. Artists of every ilk are coming clean. "It's about TIME!" shouted Hmmmm, a man of integrity and virtue who has singlehandedly spearheaded the movement. "This kind of thing cannot be allowed to continue. Let this be a lesson to all you fakers out there! When you do your art, whatever it is, USE YOUR BIRTH NAME!" Then, as if for added emphasis, he added, "And if you don't? I'll expose you! WE will expose you!"
It's happening all over. "I'm so ashamed," admitted Sean, his voice quivering. "All my life I've tried to perpetrate this fraud on the public. First I was Puff Daddy. But it wasn't enough! It was NEVER enough! But I kept trying. Puff Daddy didn't satisfy, so I went with P Diddy. That wasn't what I needed, either, so I just panicked and went with Diddy! And most of them bought it. Most of them, but thankfully one man stood strong. It was he that set me free!"
So who was it that brought you back into the light, Sean?

Who is the man that let Bobby G. and his friends down? None other than John Wayne, dear reader. That's right: John Frickin' Wayne. Or should we say...Marion Morrison?
"If he'd a just been on the up and up, none of this would be happening right now," Bobby G. asserted, shaking his head, a cigarette dangling from a quivering lower lip. "Why couldn't he have just come out with his real name? Marion Morrison: American Cowboy! But no, he had to be a fake! It was ALL a lie! ALL OF IT!"
And with that, Bobby G. gave the signal. A dumptruck tilted back its bed, and hundreds of VCR tapes and DVDS slid into the fire pit! A bloodthirsty cry went up from the mob, and just like that the whole world became a little bit purer. "Yeah, it's a little like that," Bobby agreed. "This is for truth, justice, and the American Way. No fakers are ever really going to be safe again! Not on my watch!"
In other places people are taking a stand. Guys like Bobby G. and Hmmm aren't stopping with one or two, they are going for the jugular.
That's right, you heard it here first: they are now going after Marilyn Monroe! Or rather, the woman who faked being Marilyn Monroe.
"Her name was Norma Jean, it's as simple as that," said Bobby G. and Hmmm in a joint statement. "We are just asking her estate to come clean about that faker, to quit perpetrating such a fraud on the public!"
The Monroe estate has had no comment and so far has refused to answer the charges brought forth. "A big ship turns slowly, as you know. That woman has been a faker for a long time, close to 80 years," explained Hmmmm in an interview with me yesterday. "The truth is, she isn't Marilyn Monroe, ok? She wasn't blonde, and she wasn't good looking, either. It was all a charade, and we are here to expose her to the world!"
There have been rumors for years that Hmmmm and his people got to Prince, a rumor verified by Hmmmm himself!
"Yeah, he was an easy one," Hmmmm nodded. "A symbol? For a name? No way anyone named him that symbol at birth, no sir. I couldn't take it, he was my first faker!"
So how did it happen?
"Simple! My people got ahold of his people. We told him to come clean, to stop this fakery and fraud against the people, to use his birth name or face the consequences!" Hmmmm said. "It took a few years but he finally submitted and got rid of the symbol. Now he's Prince again. Sure, it's just his first name, but that's OK as long as it's his birth name! Same goes for Cher and Madonna, ok? They are OK in my book. That's what they were named. But as for the rest, these fakers..."
What about his partner, Bobby G.? Do initials count?
"Initials are fine. You got KD Land, you got KT Tunstall. So far as we've been able to tell, those initials are for their real names. Their BIRTH names," Hmmmm offered. "And initials are ok."
Well, who says they are ok? Shouldn't they have to use their full names?
"No," Hmmmm declared.
But why? Who makes the rules?
"Well, I do...but I have the support of everyone who can think straight and who doesn't want to be faked!" he cried. "It's just common sense, common decency! Think about it!"
OK, so how far will our hero take this crusade against the Artists Who Would Fake Us?
"All the way to the top, baby! People should NOT be making art of any kind under anything but their birth names, and that's that!" cried Hmmmm, his finger thrust into the air. "We're going after Nikki Sixx next! Why? Because his name is Frank, that's why! And we will expose John Denver, too!"
John Denver? Why him, I asked. He's harmless!
"He was a FAKER! He was a practicer of fakery!" Hmmmm shrieked. "He got rich off the public as John Denver, when his real name was something you couldn't pronounce in mixed company!"
OK, fair enough. But why Nikki Sixx?
"You keep asking these questions, and it's the same old answer," Hmmm replied, getting a little testy. "He's a FAKER! His name is Frank Ferrano, and he's a faker!"
But, I pointed out, everyone on Motley Crue uses a fake name!
"Exactly!" Hmmmm agreed. "But Frank wrote all their songs, so he's gotten the richest off it out of all of 'em! He should have come clean and not written songs nor made music under an assumed name. He wouldn't be IN this mess now if he'd only come clean at the start!"
What mess?
"Oh," Hmmm chuckled. "We'll expose him soon enough, you wait and see. Him, John "Denver" Deutschendorf...they'll all have to come clean eventually, see? It's birth name or nothing!"
So, I asked, who are you after right now?
"Well, I'm glad you asked," he said. "We are after a guy who calls himself Ronald Jenkees. Boy he's a tough nut to crack! We have what I'd call PROOF that his name is NOT Ronald Jenkees, but rather some guy named Ben or Big Cheez or something. Oh, he's a slippery one, he is!"
What art does he make, inquired I.
"Oh, this Ronald guy, he makes videos of his fake self making fake beats, fake music, all the while living a fake life in a real bedroom. We have footage of him doing real laundry and riding real amusement park rides, too," Hmmmm explained. "It's just too much, really. He just ought to come clean about who he is, cuz he probably can't play the keys or make videos in real life! No way he knows how to use FL Studio, either. So he should just admit who he is, you know? It's disgusting!"
But people like the music he makes, I protested.
"Ah, but he's not really making beats nor music!" Hmmm shouted. "He doesn't even exist! How could he be making beats? What, do spirits jam? Well? Do they?"
I just shrugged, shaking my head.
"Aha! See! You get my point exactly," Hmmmm sat back and folded his arms across his chest. "It's guys like this that make our society so duplicitous! Come out with your birth name! Come out with it or you'll be hearing from ME!"
And that concluded our interview.
As I was walking out to my car, the events of the day kept playing back in my head. There was something wrong here, but what was it?
Then half way down I205 it hit me.

There's a point when patience becomes absurd, unfortunately we've reached that point...any update would keep us satisfied Ronald, at least for a while.
You impatient folks need to chill the **** out. True art takes time and if it isn't done it isn't done. It's not as if Ronald *owes* us an update or something. He's probably just immersed in the process of creating an album that will blow our minds and make anyone who complained embarrassed to have whined. It's going to be that epic. Mark it down.
I agree. Ronald has hundreds or maybe thousands of fans all around the world. I'm from finland and I'm really digging his music. Even a little update would ease our waiting...'cause we've been waiting like crazy since last summer, when Ronald postponed the original release of the album.

Well, I stumbled on to you through you tube as I was looking for Korg DS10 videos (not sure of the connection). I decided to subscribe to you because you know exactly what it is like to survive for six days in the middle of winter without power. As do I. In fact, Valley Station still has trees down everywhere from the ice storm. Actually, I subscribed because your prowess on the keyboard is quite good. Thanks, I look forward to more jams in the future.
